Lian Li SL120 fans on an Kraken Z73 AIO

Hello everyone,

So I have an concern that I haven't been able to find the answer to, maybe it's an very simple one at that, but I haven't been able to figure it out, hence this thread...

My concern is how do I connect 3 of the new Lian Li SL120 fans to the Kraken Z73 AIO? I mean, will the pump be able to power 3 of those togheter? Due to them having just a single PWM cable, since they are daisy chained togheter?...

The last thing I want is for the pump or circuit being potentially overloaded due to the 3 fans being too much to handle, since the AIO already costs a fortune in itself.

Thank you,
Dawelio

Doesnt the AIO already power 3 other fans? if so then yes you can easily connect the 3 lian li fans because even if there are 3 seperate fan connections to the pump, they all end up on the same soldering points inside.

It does, however that means 3 separate connections, when using the Lian Li, that would only be connected to 1 connector. Since they are daisy chained togheter into one unit.

Shouldnt be an issue to be honest, and otherwise if you think it's not worth it just connect the one connector on cpu optional and control them there from the bios.

But like i said, even if there are 3 seperate connections, it's highly likely those 3 are connected to the same soldering point inside and therefore it doesnt matter if you daisy chain 3 to one connection, the wires will handle it no problem.

Yeah, this is what I'm thinking as well. Just a tad worried considering the AIO costs around $300 alone. So yeah, wouldn't want to damage it over such a small thing.
