The H70 no because it uses the 50mm rad so along with a 25mm fan there just isn't enough room.

I have seen people use a H50 with the 25mm rad so a H60 would do the same but they where using a mini-ATX PSU instead of the standard ATX PSU to get the extra room needed for the rad. A PSU like this http://www.overclock...sfx_power_psu/5 or the mini silverstone one you where looking at before is what you'll need to do that.

I recommend googling the case and looking at the pictures of peoples cases. If you use the pictures section of google rather than the text then it can take you to some great mod sites for this case but your gona need a translator cus the best ones are in German

If your serious about doing this then I recommend buying the case first so you can have a measure up and see what will fit before buying anything else.

Have fun

LOL, Im not running from you, just thought that it was a different topic so it should have a new post. Really I would gladly accept your help in any case. And to prove my point I say thankyou, you have helped me one more time. Ill probably go with a low profile air cooler on this setup.

Doesn't look like it would without some modding. The only place I could see sticking the rad would be in the front. That's 140mm though, the H70 is 120mm.

lol, I know mate, just being comical. And as I said before, your very welcome and I'm happy to help.

A good low profile CPU cooler would be the best or at least easiest way to go. You can actually get away with stock coolers in that case but your best swapping it out for a cooler quieter one.

If your interested in looking for the hell of it then below is the link to one of the forums I was looking at where somebody had fitted a H50 into this case but like hmmblah said, there would be some miner moding involved. Well personally I thing the hardest part would be getting a bracket for the PSU but still, not as straight forward as just buying a good CPU cooler

You might want to take a look at the thread anyway just to see what coolers people have used as there's some good fan-less coolers in there, but that's just if your interested. Sounds like you know what your on with now anyway, and its been fun helping

Enjoy building the rig for your Dad mate and be sure to post some pics in the rig gallery when its finished

Wow, you can't really appreciate how small that case is until you see hardware inside of it. That thing is tiny!

Bah, bags of room in the Q11. You should google the Q07 and see what people have done with that. I think one of the things I love most about Lian-Li's is the mod culture that they attract.

In fact, here....

This is the Q07, take a look first so you get to appreciate the size:http://www.lian-li.com/v2/en/product/product06.php?pr_index=319&cl_index=1&sc_index=25&ss_index=64&g=spec

Then go here, scroll down about a quater of the page and check out that guys watercooling mod lol: http://forum.hardware.fr/hfr/Hardware/Boitier/topic-unique-poids-sujet_853871_2.htm

I have this case for my server:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811163112

I thought it was small....that Q11 or any of those mitx cases are insane. Would make for an awesome LAN party machine. Sure would be better lugging around a CM690 full of gear. I like to see the insides though and with everything inside those mitx cases become ugly.

I like Mini-ATX servers

How many HDD's can you fit into that?

When I get some money spare I'd like to put my own server together in one of the following:

http://www.lian-li.c...index=64&g=spec

http://www.lian-li.c...index=63&g=spec

I'd like to use ITX case but like the idea of having a separate NIC like the one in Hayley's so you can have one port for incoming and one for outgoing so would probably end up going mATX.

Know what you mean about a ITX gaming rig too. I've been thinking about an Q07 case like before with a GTX 550 in it and a H60 with the rad an fan mounted externally. It would work with some creative thinking and a little moding.

You should see what people have done with the Q08 though. H70's mounted inside along with some beastly GPU's. Some even put fall watercooling in there instead of just the Corsair stuff.

I also heard they Gigabyte are going to do a P67 ITX board. That with a 2500K, high end GPU and some creativity and you could have a beast the size of a kitten.

I currently have my main rig inside this PC-V354 and I became a fan of small cases immediately. It is absolutely amazing. I will be modding the front to fit 2x120 for my 2500k but I am waiting for Maximus IV gene MB first...Currently running 2500k at 4.5ghz and overclocked gtx 570 Twin Frozr II from MSI and everything works just as good as in my old ATSC 840. Small cases ftw.
