Need a Sit and Stand desk that doubles as a PC enclosure? Have a look at Lian Li's DK-04 Sit and Stand Computer Desk Enclosure.

price will be normal for Lian Li. It will most likely require a visit to the bank manager, with that sad look and hand full of wage slips lol.

I like the majority of Lian Li stuff but its always been too overpriced for me. Think there last desk was about £1000 ish(???) can't see this being any cheaper.
 
Does it have an integral monitor stand? For say a 3 screen setup - now that would be even sweeter...
 
I've not seen a single one of these desks yet that I would be happy with/want to sit at.

The problem with absolutely all of them is the thickness. I like to sit either like a hippy with my legs crossed (at which point I would not be able to get my knees under the desk) or with my ottoman and my legs raised onto that which again, would be a problem due to the thickness.

I do sit in the correct posture for some of the day but yeah, would be useless to me really.

As for reviewing one? logistical nightmare. One of two options.

1. They pay the astronomical postage charge and send one to Tom for FA. Tom is then stuck with this monstrosity afterward.

2. They pay the postage, send it to Tom and then collect it afterward (as some companies do when they're as tight as aholes). But it would be uber expensive and as I said, logistical nightmare.

So don't hold your breath on any reviews.

It's obviously a massively expensive thing that you would just buy or not buy. Not something that really needs reviewing, it is what it is.
 
it's stuff like this that do need a TTL feature length review and not just a 5 to 15 minutes overview, but somehow i don't see TTL doing it, it'll just take up too much time then it's worth as no one here would have the money for one anyway.

come to think about it when was the last time TTL covered a Lian Li product?

Lian Li are not known for sending out review samples of their exotic products. I don't know why that is but it's usually because the UK is a small audience that they have chosen not to bother with too much.

I agree, I can't really see any other reviewers on Youtube doing a review on it anyway.

TBH i can't see Lian Li selling many of these anyway, If i remember correctly Logan or Qain at Computex back in 2014 i think Lian Li said there is a limited run anyway, I don't think it was this model anyway

not sending out samples for multiple reviews/media is a bit s**t really when they can just ask for it to be send back to or to the next person, after all europe is just across the pond.

I don't think it would be light i would desk that desk would be pushing 50 to 75kgs so i can understand why they really wouldn't send them out to reviewers

What's the point though? it's a desk. You can see it, you can sit at it. What's the point in wasting hundreds, nee, thousands of pounds sending them out just for the reviewers to sit at it?

Pretty much everything you need to know about it is in the pictures. Anything other than that? I'm sure there's a manual on their website.

For it to be tested properly you would need to build it. And that means a whole ton of complex water cooling.

I'm pretty confident that this thing is more of a show of strength from Lian Li than a serious product. Kind of like that Inwin thing that completely opens up and then closes again and will be priced at about three grand.

It's for willy wavers only, others need not apply. Well, unless you got a couple of grand burning a hole in your pocket and want to buy one.

But nearly every one looking at these things couldn't afford to buy them any way so why waste money?
