Lenovo are one of the only PC companies still making serious cash from laptops. Makes sense that they'd buy even more of IBM's stuff as well. Their phones are also really quite cool as well, they've got a couple of UHD phones coming out soon as well. If they make their other things like they do with their laptops they'll be a solid choice.

Oh god no I can't sell anything for sh*t :P. I can see why you'd say that tbh but hey, its nice having a company I can actually rely on for once.

People have loyalties (the amount of times I've thought that about people and corsair on this forum...), I personally like laptops that actually work and don't need to be sent off for a lengthy RMA process. They can't make a decent spec'd ultra gaming laptop and they can't make desktops though.

When you deal with ALOT of laptops you appreciate ones that work and that actually can withstand a knock. Hence my dislike of anything Samsung makes that has a screen.

for the record I actually have sold my Lenovo ultrabook relatively recently as I'm getting a MBP, so I guess I'm 'one of those' now

Come on, that thing is an enthusiast's wet dream. I once got my hands on one and the surface is amazing.

It'd also last for ever as well as the cooling on those is quite OP.
Also they do one with a 3k IPS screen, which is neat.
