AMD are supposed to be announcing the new cards on the 25th according to a rumour a while ago.
There is bound to be a dual card though, should be a beast if the rumours are true that one 9790 or what ever it will be called is faster than a 780.

I'm presuming this 8990 will go buy a different name, as you can get it on some prebuild desktops already (such as falienware).

wouldn't two 8990s in crossfire be quadfire (or whatever it is called, if there is a term) and wouldn't that be a whole new world of driver issues?
haha I hate to think..
The CrossFire stutter will be twice as fast.
Maybe if they put enough brute force into the next gen, it will be so fast the stutter won't be noticeable! Similar threads
