laptop sata optical drives

do they exist? cant seem to find them anywhere.I am wanting a nice slim dvd burner for a mod to my case and all I can find is IDE ones,the reason i want sata is the cables are much neater with sata and easier to hide

Ha! I never looked b4, but u right.

There`d be no advantage serial over parallel tho, as they only operate at something like ata66.

I`d probably get an adaptor.
