This maybe a repeated post, if it is plz point me in the right direction?

I am looking for a way to access my old laptop HDD on my current desktop.

The HDD in question is a "Seagate Momentus 5400.2, AT disc drive"

Currently it has a 22 single pin IDE attachment.

Any help would be much apprecitated

Something like this or a docking solution may work.

Be wary though, I used one and it promptly melted! The maplin type one was cheap and nasty.

Was fortunate enough to save the drive though.

I used to use one of the top ones all the time. Well, not that specific one but one that looked identical.

Back in the Win98 days I had a laptop with no cdr. So I would part install Win98 on the drive (in my pc) and then when it did the restart before detecting hardware I would simply stop it, go into a dos prompt and put all the cabinet files on
