Hey guys, long time no talk. Pretty much want to throw together a mini-itx build that will mount onto my monitors VESA mount for LAN use. This being a lan rig, max game performance isnt an issue.
Best I can come up with so far;
AMD 3870K OC'd to 3.6(this will bump the gpu to ~960mhz)
8gb of 1866 Ram (not really bothered at make) for max GPU bandwidth
All this can go into a small antec isk100 case and ill be using a 200w pico psu probably
Basically it needs to run Css (Lowest settings as per usual) and BF3(on medium no AA no post) at 1280 x 720
Will have an SSD in there too, complete system cost is around the £400
Does anyone have a 3870K that can share there expiernce with it? Any other suggestions, Space is limited so one that can mount onto a VESA on the back of an LCD is Ideal
