Kingston Intros SSDNow M Series Kits

I'm sorry gaurang, I'm failing to see the 'not-bad' in a $400+ external 80g kit.

agreed, when you can grab a velociraptor (74GB) for $100 it is hard to spend 4x on SSD... soon though... it will become at least worth the premium...

If we look at other SSD options, then the deal is definitely "not-so-good", but considering the fact that the retail price of Intel's X25-M SSDs is close to the $400, this would be a better deal for those you are crazy about Intel.

Not quite. Basically, Kingston's PR division behind. These things have been available for at least 2 weeks now here in the States. The price they say is behind the times as well, as Intel 80GB drives go for around $320 while the Kingston bundles go for about $340 and the 160GB Intel is $620 with Kingston $660

Now that really is stupid... sending out a press release for products that have already hit the market and also providing wrong pricing for the same.
