Keyboard

My current keyboard has had keys failing etcetera, and after cleaning the whole thing it hasn't gotten any better. So, I'm in the market for a new one. The reviewed keysonic looks good, but isn't stocked anywhere anymore.

in short:

- Laptop style keys, I really type faster on them

- Standard layout. I do not want to be searching for my special keys if I need them

- < €40

Any recommendations?

AppleK Pro

A shareware USB kernel mode driver for Windows for using Apple keyboards on PCs. The AppleK Pro lets you use Mac-specific keys for Windows functions. It also lets you use standard Mac keyboard commands in Windows, including force quit (Command-Option-Esc), create screen shot (Command-Shift-3, 4), and switch between applications (Command-Tab).

SharpKeys

SharpKeys is a Registry hack for Windows to map keys to other functions. Supports up to 104 mappings, an extensive list of available keys, and a "Type Key" option to help when managing mappings. Supports Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003.

I wasn't talking about compatibility issues with software. It just seems a bit weird imho. It's like trying to make a puzzle hybrid from two separate puzzles.

The apple keyboards do happen to be the best typing keyboard I have ever heard of, although that's probably mainly because of mac fanboys. Said to be incredibly sturdy (what do you expect eh, apple build quality), small for the amount of keys they have and like lasher showed, you can have all its functions on Vista too. I also heard about a program called UAWKS to have it work better with windows.

Jim, how does your macbook type?

Well yea that's my only concern at the moment. I've gamed with the logitech ultrax (flat keys too) for a long time though, and that wasn't much of a problem.
