Keyboard Problems

Me and two friends are having a really stupid problem with our keyboards. All shortly after a windows reinstall. A few of the keys alternate functions (Shift + key) gives the wrong result. prime example being the @ symbol being Shit + 2, not Shift + the ' button. Ive tryed a few of the generic drivers but they make no difference. Any thoughts?

It's defaulted to a US rather than a UK keyboard. Go to Control Panel, Regional and Language Options, under the Regional options tab select English (UK) in the dropdown list, then go to the Languages tab, click Details, and select English (UK) as the default input language. If it's not there in the installed services list click on Add...and install. Select and then hit Apply.

Either your the most useful person ever or u have way too much time on ur hands:D. lets go with the first one.

Actually I've lost count of the number of times I've been called on to fix the problem you had, so it was quicker in the long run to create an image tutorial than have to keep typing out the same old instructions over and over again.

Anyway a picture paints a thousand words.
