Thought I'd give you a quick whizz through my watercooling

The parts:

Watercooling kit:

waterparts.jpg

1x Zern.at Socket 939 Copper/Nickel (Rates 2nd best waterblock on market by watercoolingplanet.de)

1x XSPC Dual Crossflow 120mm Radiator with mounts (fans can be fitted both sides).

1 x Panaflo 125cfm 120mm fan...very very loud fan it has to be said :(

1 x Vantec Stealth...musg get another: nice and quiet :)

1x Laing DD-12v D5 Pump (latest and greatest 12v pump on market)

1x Danger Den Fillport (for topping up your water)

3m (approx) of 1/2" ID Clearflex tubing

10x Jubilee clamps (best clamps to stop water leaks )

1x Bottle of UV Blue Dye

1x Bottle of Racing Coolant

Stripped out the entire case ready for insertion of parts. After some test fitting decided that I couldn't use the crossflow fan any more :(

After lots of hacking (all my holesaw bits were too small :() I managed to fit the Fillport. I think this took the longest!

After looking through NoL's suggestion of the water loop I hoked some up. Lickily I MSN'd this pic to XMS who told me that the pump pumped upwards!! WHOA

WRONG.JPG

That^ would have produced a 20' fountain!!

Time to reconsider mefinks. Drilled some holes in the floor of the case for the pump instead and went with XMS's suggesed drawing :)

This part was pretty good fun and didn't take that long to do....hooking it all up was pretty fun actually

Dry loop ready for some H2O:

After some fussing with the water like little bit in...pump on...little bit more in...pump on...(etc) I got to this stage: firing it up for longer:

WET LOOP TEST.JPG

Left this overnight to go through. Not one leak *crosses fingers* *prays* so I put a touch more blue UV in, purple not being my colour, and we had a finished loop!

Time to get some componenets in mefinks! :D

Well it all went ok *sigh of relief* so I boshed on some UV for effect :)

it looks very nice Kemp , nice job, hope temperature stays around 30s when u max your overclock :)

Awesome mate!! Welcome to the wonder world of watercooling. :wavey:

I like ur uv orange fan on the back of the case, looks like the ones that I have :)

Now you MUST pop the IHS off that damn proccy and let her rip, MUST!

Agreed frag, i saw a 5-7oc drop in load temps by popping my IHS off.

And nice job Kemp, looks uber sekc

Love it kemp, grats to ya it's super tasty :worship: . Lot's n lot's of glowy goodness always gets me going :)

Thanks guys

I am gonna try some OC'ing today and see how I go. If the IHS needs to come off then it needs to come off ;)

And as for the fan...imma getting rid of the panaflo on the rad as its faaaar too noisy. I'll most likely get another Vantec. If I can find my orange UV paint then I'll pimp out both the fans ;)

All I gotta say is gorgeous mate! :yumyum: Good job! A 20' fountain coming out of your rig would be an interesting feature! :D

Might be a little late but i would've had the loop like this:

Pump-Rad-CPU-Res-Pump

and the T line wherever you want it.

But thats just my opinion

Hi mate!

I don't have a res..but the idea is that it goes pump-cpu-rad-pump

This should get rid of the hot water from the CPU straight away :)
