Just interested...What tubing/barbs combi do you use?

Whats the compression barbs do and what are the advantages over others?

Steel worm drive hose clamps otherwise known as jubilee clips? Are polymer barbs easier to work with? Im guessing the thicker tubing allows less kinks

Edit:

Water loop, full. Removed form my P180 and has been kicking around my room for a few days.

Waterloop still full, suspended by the 2 barbs on the block alone.

Ive never had a leak and if it wasn't for fear of breaking the thing you could throw the thing around and it would still be fine.

Whoo hoo you lose like 1° over 1/2"... Worth it imo.

Ham - that indeed does look good lol, how would you go about draining? Unscrew the barb?

+ some random very bendy tubing from B&Q that decided to go milkey.

Yeah, the normal is 10/8, but the 11/8 is a much tighter fit.

I also prefer 1/2" hose with 1/2" barbs with jubilee clips, IMO it looks so much nicer.

Masterkleer 7/16" on my next build. I've used it in the past and preferred it to all the types of 1/2" i've tried in the past. Plus it really grips on to 1/2" barbs - almost doesn't need hoseclips.

Never heard of 7/16" barbs tbh
