Oh yes, time to give up the apartment living and get me a house.

My room-mate and I found a sweet house today that we're 99% sure we're gonna rent. It's on about 2 acres of land, hugeness nice arse yard, big shade-giving tree. The house itself has just been renovated inside and out w/ 2 beds, 1 bath, and an unfinished basement (aka the 1337 computer homie hangout zone).

We snapped some pix of the outside of the place today, whatcha think? And get this.... $1075/mo!!! We're each gonna save about $235/mo getting this place, I love it, I wanna move in NOW!!

Looks like a nice place and saving money going from appartment to house is a dam good thing!

but man! does it look sweet.

u can crank up the sound without the neighbors complaining............and it ain't like u aint got enuf space for a partai!

Nah that's the side of a building, I wish it were backed up on to a lake!!

@cyber: One of the biggest things we like about the place is the space it has outside and around it which means we can have massive parties in the yard and crank the music in the house until all hours of the morning. We've already planned to get 2 BBQ's for the back + a big enclosed fire pit.

And there's no PS'ing goin' on in any of those pix, genuineizzle.

Dunno yet TBH, I should find out tomorrow. It's small whatever it is, the bedrooms are just big enough for us to fit our giant beds in to :D The basement is where it's @ though, I can't even wait to start working on the basement.
 
Nice little pad Fraggles, it'd suit you boys down to the ground. Plus the reduction in rent over your apartment will be welcome for sure. All the best with it mate, I'd love to see some internal shots too when you get a chance :)

Kemp, I'm actually contemplating selling the Wii and all accessories so that I can make up enough money to cover the deposit and first months rent on my own as my room mate still has another months worth of rent to pay on his current apartment and wouldnt have the appropriate funds for another 2 or so weeks. We really don't want this place to slip through our fingers.

Yup deffo... I figure I can get about 600-700 bux out of my setup with all of my games and extra remotes and such.
 
it's a bachalors pad,

wow you can have some serious outdoor entertainment going on and enough room for people to put up a tent or sleep under the stars (drunk).
