As soon as the sale went live they were sold out in the UK, Most of Europe, USA and Canada within a few hours so there's definitely demand for it at a decent price.

I'd say 2019 is when we will get Gen 2, With a 4K 120Hz display.

At $449 US i'm really tempted. Couldn't justify 1200 (aus) for the vive but this is doable.

AMD reckon for a true proper VR we need 5k. Per eye. And they have a point tbh.

So yeah, if VR lasts that long it'll need some serious GPU power.

I think theyre all agreed they will need eye tracking for FOV rendering to reduce the gpu power needed,
