It looks like AMD's upcoming flagship, the R9 390X will be in short Supply at launch due to yield issues which are likely due to the GPU using the ultra fast HBM Memory.

Special thanks to Chrazey for pointing me in the direction of this article.

Obviously it'll be faster than a Titan X.. 290x in Crossfire is faster. So really if it was even a rebrand it would still be faster. I also don't see how someone can think it won't be when the 390x is rumored to have far far more cores than a 290x. So in Crossfire its gaurenteed to be faster than a Titan X. Now single vs single? We won't know for a while. I'd like to see 390x in Crossfire vs a Titan X in SLI but of course both using the correct drivers and not some pre release ones.. that's happened in the past.

Well, in all honesty, I really hope the red team will deliver something breath taking. :)

Well they surprized us all in late 2013 with the R9 290X. Particularly the way it beat out the GTX Titan, and GTX 780 while being a lot cheaper than both.

AMD knows more about Nvidia's current products and future products than any of us here, I'd say you can bet they'll be gunning for the Titan X.

So have AMD confirmed this is unconfirmed?

Because i'm skeptical that this may all be an illegitimate rumor started to promote sales of G-Sync monitors and 970's.

Well I couldn't see AMD coming out and saying this will not beat the Titan x openly, though I could be wrong it wouldn't be logical for them to do that as people will think it's no better then a 970/980 so instead of waiting will go green team

Well that isn't going to be hard for them seeing as the 290X beats the Titan X. It's like maccy's double cheezburgers, just buy however many you need until your not hungry anymore, they are cheap enough.

I'd rather starve then eat anything Maccy's make
Just wish AMD would get these out while I have money in the bank and b4 my son has another growth spurt and needs new stuff :)

Slower than Titan X my arse.. The stock 390x, nevermind the 395x2, is expected to beat the Titan X by a fairly significant margin.

We will see, lets just hope it doesnt have the stupid stock cooler from the 290x and amd doesnt force it on the vendors for months.

I can't see it being significantly faster than a Titan X unless Nvidia have something up their sleeves to counter it.

Well at least the boards were all reference design at the time and you could get liquid cooling blocks for them.

I expect them to come out with the pre-filled liquid cooling version first to maximize the time at which they stay on top of the performance charts.
