L llwyd New member Nov 15, 2006 #4 the answer is yes, you COULD in theory cool a cpu with it but PLEASE DONT TRY lol, GPU coolers are generally less effective than CPU coolers and ThermalTake products are generally less effective than everything else so if i were you i wouldnt bother
