Issues with site

Hi Guys,

We are currently experiencing some problems with the site. I am working to resolve the issue, but in the meantime both the forums and homepage will be up and down like a yoyo!

Speed was a bit rough earlier, but i think that was down to IDNet rather than the server. How is it for you now?

it was damn slow for me and after a while kept asking me for a username and password.. I guess you guys were fixing it

It was pretty slow loading just now when clicked quote on your post, but apart from that, it seems normal .

it doesn't worry me cause I hardly get to the computer and PV lets me know when things aren't going well.

not specifically, although that is where the comment originated

being slashdotted is when your site gets linked to on one of the many link sites out there (slashdot, digg, there are more), this results in a huge influx of hits to the site in a short period of time, and often leads to instability.
