Issue while gaming

Didnt even realise I'd hit 1000 posts! :(

I'm kind of out of ideas as to what it could be then. If it was software or drivers causing the issue, then you may be best uninstalling all drivers and everything related to nvidia and then reseating the card.

If it was me, I'd probably want to start afresh and reinstall windows (just cause I like doing that anyway ;) ) but that'll will at least eliminate any possible software glitch or errors you may have within windows

Congrats on reaching 1000 :D

Switched my graphics card to another PCI-E slot (also wired 16x). Same things happened again while playing tf2 again. While trying to reboot however I I had an overheating error, heard the sound of it but the screen was blank, therefore I suspect the graphics card got a bit toasty there but now that it is at the bottom lane it doesn't get much fresh air, or even pulls dust inside :C. But nevertheless I quickly booted up msi afterburner, then turned on on screen display for games, the card hardly even hit 60C after I just joined a Team fortress 2 game, and then immidietly black screened with that sound loop again.
I am running out of ideas now. Currently scanning my steam drive for any errors. I shall be most grateful for further help.

Also I feel like a idiot asking this but is this your standard PCI-E 8pin? I mean there are 2 additional pins coming out of the 6-pin part. I don't know since this is my first build so far.

Well the whole pc including the card is about 2 years old. And I only had a warranty of 2 years on it. I think I acctualy could arrange something so they will check whats going on with it though.
