I'm hoping that I'm not limited to a self build for a desk, but this place is begging for one just a slight problem as I'll describe below!
I only have the space for one desk, but I have the need to use two
. I need the top of the desk/table for the monitor and/or my laptop, papers and books etc. I then need a second tier that I can either slide out like a shelf or a whole other table that fits under the first that I can pull out but still fit my legs underneath it. The reason for this is I need to put my Technics SL-1200MK2's and Urei 1601E on it (decks and a mixer). Further I need space underneath to fit my legs, my amp on a box/stand of some sort and my desktop. So you can see why I'm a bit lost haha, anyway the closest thing I found is the Sefour XR600 but it retails at £300+ and I don't think the measurements work out at all to go with my desired configuration. I also don't like it quite simply. No need to think about printer as that's wireless somewhere else!
The measurements of the Technics + Urei are 121cm wide, 41cm deep and 15cm high. The amp by itself is 43w 29d 9h, and the case for the computer will the NZXT Phantom.
To show space and size ish.
The table on the wall is the landlords, plans are to remove it (cheap screwed in thing...) with permission of course. That would be the area for the desk/table although the speakers can be further apart, but the further apart the weirder the sound is, not that I can actually crank much volume at all in this house for now
that's the sacrifice to live near Uni.

So any help with finding better options would be more than welcome, for now I'm thinking that a self build is required unless I put the decks etc on a table there, and then the computer upstairs on a different desk but I'd much prefer to be in the same room as the TV, having the computer upstairs isn't very convenient.
