So I've been thinking of overclocking this i5 to around 3.7ghz, but the PSU I have at the moment could already be on the edge of its limits. So please I need help

Intel Core i5 750 - Stock@2.67ghz

Corsair H50 watercooler

EVGA P55 FTW

4GB 1600 Gskill rams

MSI GTX560 factory overclocked@880/4200

2 HDDS

7 Case fans, already turned off 2, which leave 5 running

PSU: Ultra LSP550 Watts.

Input Voltage: 115 ~ 230

+3.3V: 22 A

+5V: 32 A

+12V 1: 30 A

-12V: 0.6 A

Thanks for helping me!

I'd say you will get a decent overclock (1 ~ 600Mhz) but not a HUGE overclock like over a Ghz, no way. You may as well leave your chassis fans on, they draw so little power it's not worth fussing about, hell, it's counter productive turning chassis fans off as then the other fans work harder and draw more power

Yeah it will be your overclock settings. I would have got a 650w for that rig to make sure there was headroom but you should still be fine.

You just need to learn how to overclock properly
