Apparently so yes. I read an article last week where they interviewed the devs and they were saying how they were going to try and not make it suck on the PC.
I played GOW on PC. DX10 was used and it looked stunning.
I think Microsoft have now realised just what the PC market is worth tbh.
At the time they pulled out (Midtown Madness 3, Xbox 1 exclusive) there was an awful lot of piracy going on. I remember downloading games in those days and it was common to see 350,000 seeds. Ridiculous really. Plus there was no licensing fee for the PC which is why they made the Xbox in the first place...
But now piracy has dropped and many got fed up waiting for the Xbone and PS4 (and like me were incredibly disappointed at the lame specs) and just opted for a PC.
I remember when Alan Wake finally released for the PC. The devs were really happy and said that they had made millions in less than a day.
I used to absolutely adore M$'s games on PC. I still have many of them on CD (Midtown Madness, Motocross Madness etc).
Really happy they are now letting devs release on the PC. Will make sure to pay up for GOW
