So i have an iPhone 6 with iOS 8.1

I want to take photos off the phone to my PC, which i know how to do, but ive created an album in the gallery, but i cant just copy the album off the phone.

Is there a piece of software which would allow me to do this?

I'm not sure if they changed it, but you used to be able to pull images off with imageready and like camera-accessing type software, there's one from Adobe that I forget the name of?

It should appear as a camera when you plug it in, but you might have to install iTunes to get the proper 'drivers' and all that shizniz

Surprised it doesn't appear as a folder? but well.. that's Apple for you I guess.

Haven't used one in so long I couldn't really tell you

Might have changed. I can still do it via my iPad mini v2.

Just plug it in, unlock and browse to the camera roll folder.

However there should be 3rd party programs you can use to do this if its a problem. I used to use one that allowed me to drag and drop music from my iphone, something Apple strictly prevent.

I know. What I meant to say is that there should be a folder there with albums which you should be able to drag and drop easily enough.

Then again, this may have all changed in ios 8.1 so I could be provided outdated info.

Pretty sure that's no an option fella.

You could sync *that* folder to something like dropbox or google drive?

You can use an application that lets you manage your apple device from the PC. One that comes to mind is iMazing, it's paid software but it has 15 days trial. There should be some free options if you plan to use it for a long time.
