With an Aluminium chassis and 3mm thick tempered glass panels the Inwin 805 sure as hell stands out from the crowd.

INWIN 805 Review

Such a shame about the interior. It'd need alot of modding and (as you say) some sort of false floor to get up to scratch with the exterior. You could possibly squeeze a bigger rad upfront too with a couple of tweaks. I am still tempted by this case though, even if it would need alot of work to get close to what I need.

Still love it. The outside is beautiful. The inside is a bit of an odd one but I'm sure it would look good once built. There are better internals out there - and a lot worse as well. I think the SSD's aren't actually supposed to be visible from the front (mobo) side but that's just my take on it.

Would be interesting to see if a blank sort of like a false floor could be mounted to cover the cable mess on the back side of the case. It could be coloured (or mirrored?) 2 or 3mm plexi or brushed aluminium or something. This could act as a shroud and cover the areas that are left looking a bit messy.

I think though the glass panel would act as a mirror anyway so you probably wouldn't see that much unless you had and LED strip in there, say to highlight your SSDs. Just thinking out loud but would be nice to see a shot of the other side of the built version with the panel mounted. I wonder how noticeable it actually is when the case is all closed.

All up though - nice review Gary :)

Good Review Gary

I like this case. It (like my InWin 901 case) is classy looking and I'm sure that I could find a way to deal with the interior issues.
This may be a good case for my wife's next PC.
