Had a bit of a clean up, still incredibly dusty but the temps are great so until it gets worse im not botherd...





 
They are resized, i thought since they was only a couple they deserved to be high res :)

They were taken on a 8mp SLR :)

And the disks seem fine, so i dont think the carpet hurt them.. didnt know it could :S
 
I'd go ballistic if my Ballistix were on a carpet (sorry couldn't resist):crazy:

Plus, are the HD circuit boards exposed on the underside? :o

You appear to have been rather fortunate.
 
Haha I cant believe you put hardware on the carpet. Especially one thats like 200% nylon

I was expecting pictures of your rig :(

I was thinking as others above said, expensive & static sensitive hardware put directly onto nylon carpet :eek: :eek: :eek:
 
The HDDs you can probably get away with as they are sealed at least, but you don't want the RAM touching the carpet, thats probably a bad idea.
 
An associate of mind put his BRAND new maximus extreme mobo on one of those shag pad rugs...(those fluffy things) . Made me giggle like a girl when he told me that it wouldnt even post. RMA!!!

Anyways...cant wait to see some pics , put them up tonight. im out tomorrow so wont see them, play nice? XD
