Internet problem

Hey

I just buildt my computer and installed windos 7 but i can`t connect to the internet. i dont now what can be wrong. Plz help me have spend 3000$ on it and cant connect to internet.

i got a 4770k saberthooth z87 asus gtx 780 asus pce-ac66 networks card

are you connecting with an adapter or a cable? Have you installed the drivers for your ethernet port?

are the green and orange leds near the ethernet connector lighting up?

id say you need a driver for it some of the high end mobos have 3ed party controller chips for the lan or usb3 if the driver is not installed some times the os wont see the lan or usb3 or so

are you trying to connect with the ac66 or with the mobos ethernet?

also found this. wont make you happy but here it is.

try to connect with your motherboard ethernet. if you can use cable.

ther is a thread about this on asus rog forums, may be best to just use onboard llan untill this issue is sorted

a mod will probably mod this thread and tell you guys to not double/triple post.. use the edit button!!

i'am looking at a picture of a sabertooth z87 and it has one rj45 lan port.
