IntelliTXT advertising in reviews.

Guys,

We are currently trialing a new type of advertising that you may have seen on other websites called IntelliTXT. This advertising double underlines keywords in content and links to advertisers sites.

We know how you all hate adverts so it would be interesting to get some feedback from you on what you think.

You'll only find the links in the actual content of reviews, news and articles and it shouldnt appear anywhere else on the site.

Remember that these adverts are going towards helping us be able to give you better reviews/articles and competitions as well.

I actually think they're much less intrusive on OC3D than other (no names ) sites.

Do you get little pop-ups when you put your mouse over them? Thats the most annoying thing about the reviews on *another site*

that sucks oh well, i suppose it has to be done. just gotta watch where i put my cursor lol. I dont so much mind that they pop up, i just wish they would go away when you click on the review rather than having to spend like 4 seconds guiding my copperhead on max sensitivity onto the minute close button

Although thinking about it, how many of us actually read all the text unless we're in the market for a new one of whatever the review is on. I know i don't, i just look at the pretty pictures, the benchmarks results and the price. The main body of the text is aimed at the E-Public, people who Google 'PSU reviews' and find the wonder that is OC3D and they certainly wont find a better review anywhere, let alone one that doesn't have adverts in

They dont really bother me, all other review sites use them so I dont see why oc3d should have to be different.

At the end of the day we're not 100% decided on having them. We want to see how they perform for us, and if they actually bother you guys (because i think a lot of ppl say bleh before they have even given them a chance).

Also they're not bright green on OC3D like they are on other sites

i dont mind if there just underline links. But it would annoy me if when hovering over them, something popped up.

They're underlined and something pops up I'm afraid. These are pretty good for us but I don't know how much they affect the user experience.

I have learned to ignore them on other sites so I don't see it being a biggy

I do notice on some sites that the time taken before the pop-up seems to vary - dunno if u can maximise it
