Intel revolutionises game benchmarking with new gaming performance tool

If it supports everything and is optimised for other hardware outside of Intel then I'll admit best thing Intel has done in a while, might be time for Nvidia to start worrying as the battlemage cards are expected to at least be a 4080 and of course a hella lot cheaper.

Battlemage could be faster than Nvidias next 5xxx series for all we care. Unless they get their driver issues sorted, its all wasted potential. The drivers have vastly improved lately, but its still not there yet.

Yes but it's getting better they had a lot of catching up to do with 20 years worth of support starting from scratch, Still I'll stick with AMD it's the middle of the road imho. Saying that 5k series isn't until 2025 and that is half the reason AMD isn't pushing 8 series fully as they have some real chiplet issues to resolve, but come 9k series when nvidia has 5k out well it'll be interesting to say the least, so seems I'll skip a gen again for now.

Maybe next year i'll think about zen 5 upgrade but around Christmas I expect i'll get some form of mini PC most likely not the latest but at least rdna2 support.

my 6800XT has some legs left in it yet, it keeps up with a 4070ti so i don't need something quickly i just need something worthy.

I'd bet if it were a lot faster people would be prepared to put up with the drivers.

BITD ATI drivers were crap. Their cards were buggy and crashed a lot, and of course that whole issue with Crossfire, that became AMD, that they knew about. But people didn't care because all of its issues aside it was "fast" and FPS counts looked good.

The current Intel GPUs, even with perfect drivers, are still just very "meh".
