6C/12T. What the hell, the i7 without HT is already overkill, with HT is just ridiculous then what's with 12 threads?

Good to see the 32nm coming though, but I'm going to freak out if intel puts it on another socket. I wouldn't anything or go AMD just to boycot that xD

Looks like I'll wait till 2010 to upgrade then...6 cores, it'll only be about 4 years till we see quads utilised in any useful way...

Bet you they do. Makes you appreciate how AMD stick to the same sockets for longer. Though I bet they only do this as a cost saving exercise, if they had the big bucks of intel, they'd likely be chopping and changing as much.
