I've just got an X25-m for my dad, and have been considering it for myself.... Think ill wait for them to sort the toolbox though

Tiny, picky bone of contention, "... largest chip manufacturer in the world, Intel .." - by revenue.

SSDs are firstly being reported as highly popular, then messages of firmware being acceptable for tech in it's infancy. With a long way to go to be as-popular as conventional drives. I stand by my statement that in their current form, they never will. Something else is going to come, something ingenuitive, from lesser companies than Intel.

For the love of god, just like firmware upgrading anything, back ur shizzle up b4.

Yep, exactly...normally I wait when a BIOS update or firmware release comes out...and wait for the oh damn, its screwed up my drive/mobo!
