SSDs are firstly being reported as highly popular, then messages of firmware being acceptable for tech in it's infancy. With a long way to go to be as-popular as conventional drives. I stand by my statement that in their current form, they never will. Something else is going to come, something ingenuitive, from lesser companies than Intel.
