Doesnt look like these are on a par with platter disks yet in terms of read and write performance but we can obviously expect this to improve.
Other point to note is capacity...Vista has killed all current RAM and SSD disks due to minimum disk size for installation, so JBOD (how will the OS install handle the disk useage for best performance) or XP-only at the mo realistically
