Today Intel releases the Pentium D 820 and i945G/P chipset. these new parts are aimed more @ the mainstream and business markets. The PD 820 runs @ 2.8GHz but does not support HT, Each core runs @ 2.8GHz and has 1 Mb cache per core <2MB total>
1.2-1.4V operating voltage range and 95 Watts thermal design power <heat>;
The Nu Chipset support 1066FSb and SATA 2 as well as the usual intel tech
