Up until a couple of week ago, I was the happy owner of a full watercooled system running rock stable at 3.5Ghz, which was looking like that:

But, then I decided to go for a phase change. I finally received what was probably the last GT available in the UK. After some hesitations, I decided to go for the phase 1 of the integration of my PC71 with this MachII GT. My beloved machine suddenly turned into a big big pile of junk like this:eek: :

I started to use my dremel in order to clear the rear of the CPU just like phil told, and to cut the hole for the mach2 head. My problem was that this definitively didn't look right:

Having bought the Lian Li kit, I tried to find a way to transform this PC61 kit into a PC71 kit. I assembled the kit using an internal aluminium structure I built to fill the front gap:

In order to avoid having my Mach2 dusting my carpet, I cut the panel of the default Enlight black kit and attached it to the bottom. I also found a way to attach the LCD. Thank god, the USB cable provided is long enough:

I finally got something that looked like this:

I finally used the what was left of the Enlight side panel to close the rear sides of the Mach2 unit:

Yeah, I know, the color is not quite the same.. I'm thinking of using some paint maybe later to have a match. Well, after two days of work, I got something like this now:

Phase 2 now is the integration of the watercooling for the GC and chipset. I'll keep posting in this topic if you find it interresting.

PHASE2: Integration of Watercooling.

Watercooling done. 24h Leak test successful:

Eheim 1048 mounted on silent blocks and relayed.

Double rad used on top of the case with 2 YS Tech 120mm fans + filters. You can see the flow meter (below) and the inline temp probe (above).

Time to mount the evap on the CPU and the rest of the components.

That looks mad, good job, never say "It don't fit", just hack it up!;)

Keep us posted, nice pics.

How about spraying on some fire like pattern (like on drag racers) to mask up that back section.

Nice bit of modding there m8 :)

Thanks guys.

I'm working on the watercooling part now. But then I need a 24 hours leak check. So I guess it'll take until the end of this week. I'm planning the visual part this weekend. I hope I'll be able to switch it on early next week.

Pictures coming soon.

Thanks for your comments.:D
