Ok, first off, this contains some rather strong language, but I couldn't find any guidelines
with regards to what videos are ok to post or not. If this is too NSFW-ish, I'll understand if
censorship measures are taken.

Having said that, this is probably the most hilarious thing I've seen all week (yes I know, it's
already been out a few days) :lol:

Back story, for those not yet familiar with it: Some sorority chapter president wrote a rather
scathing letter to her fellow members because she was... slightly dissatisfied with them.
As these things go, it went public, and the internet has done the rest, as it usually does


Anyway, Michael Shannon (Boardwalk Empire, General Zod in the new Superman), did
a Funny or Die reading of said letter (as mentioned, NSFW, probably, depending on where
you work ):

Yeah, one could think this is a drill sergeant whipping his (or her, in this case) men into shape for
war or something like that.

I mean, I know sororities and fraternities have a bit more importance in the US than they do where
I live. Not that they're completely irrelevant here, but in four years of college I have never once seen
any activity in that area, most clubs at my college were organized around some sort of special
interest (different sorts of sports, maths, music, college news letter etc.).

But come on, they can't be that important! Nobody should take life as seriously as this
imho, that just breaks you (as evidenced here).

The problem is that it's not only doing harm by reproduction (should it come to that), but also
by spreading ignorance and hate, which might be even worse.

Then again, who know, maybe her sorority sisters really were such horrible c*nts that they
deserved this stern talking to. :lol:

I honestly can't say I found it funny tbh. Maybe it's me as I do have a very strange sense of humour but people who rant and rave just put me on edge and make me want to slap them.

The actual letter I don't really find that funny, but the readings... yeah :lol:
I don't think I would find it funny if she was reading it herself.

But in general I don't really like to be around pissed off people, just too much wasted energy.
Usually I just leave (or hang up or whatever).

Ah well, communication is not everybody's gift (I'm still not sure if I buy him saying he told
her, I mean seriously, how can you fail to make sure your GF understands that you're
going to Europe for two weeks? He doesn't exactly sound like a genius either tbh).

Also, the hole thing could have been avoided if she had given his mom her number (why
didn't his mother have her number in the first place though, might be relevant for other
emergencies anyway).

There's just so much wrong in that story :crazy: :lol:
