Insane flow rate

Since installing my Maze 4 block (thats got less restriction that drainpipe), the flowrate in my system has gone thru the roof.

I've got an XSPC reservoir that does a good job of removing most of the bubbles, but the water passing thru the pipes is still slightly on the whiteish side - also, my rig sounds like a tap running into a sink.

Do you reakon i should just turn my D5 down, move to a T-Line setup or leave it as-is?

How long have you been bleeding the loop? My setup does the same because of the Storm's impingement jets - just like highly turbulent water. My rad does a great job of catching the air bubbles in the top tank and after about 24 hours the system is completely bled of residual air after a top up to the res (it does settle down). The t-line will assist with the air removal quicker; as it did in my first loop before the res was installed.

Its been bleeding for about 3 days :s

When the D5 is turned to full, you can see the water being literally blasted into the reservoir.

3 days - holy crap :D I'd tone down the pump a smidge then, at least to allow some of the residual air to bleed properly then. Even with a t-line you may have issues getting it to bleed properly at that pressure.

Get a Swiftech MCRES. Tlines take FOREVER to bleed with a good pump. (Trust me on this one.

MCRES will have your loop bubble free in an hour flat. :)

I'm using this tho. Got my line bubble free in under 10 mins before :(

That's weird Jim.

I was having some problems with my setup and kept hearing bubbles. I realised that it just needed a smidge more water. Luckily I had some I made earlier ;)

10 mins, under an hour - guys you must have some thing I dont.

Left mine over night to clear the air.

Microres are a great product, any body confirm th e claim of 2 years between system maintenance?

thanks for the heads up, will be difficult to get in Australia :( will have to settle on Fluid Xp blu dye. I see you case is not rectangular? Looks like it is designed for water cooling, did you make the case your self?

Here's a link to some more pics of the rig. . .yes it is specifically designed for water cooling. It is cut for a PA120.3 in front and a Black Ice GTX240 or Swiftech MCR220 in the rear above the PSU. Very roomy and easy to work with with top notch quality of construction.

Petra's Tech Shop will mail you a bottle of Pentosin G11. It's a small bottle so shipping shouldn't be that bad.
