right, a few things i want to know but have never botherd to ask:

what are the names of each part inside a phasechange unit and what does each do? also what are the differances between a prometeia/vapo/homemade cascade system?

Best place to go is extremesystems they have some good diagrams etc of cascades and auto cascades main parts of a refrigeration system are the evaperator (in a prom the head), compressor, and condensor(radiator thingy in a prom)

yea they have diagrams etc but i need dumbed down ones lol, eg they say condenser with a little drawing but i could look inside a prommy and have no idea what it was (either that or ive not looked at them all)

wouldnt the compressor be the big black round thing with the small black box at the back of it, and several copper pipes coming out of it?!

yeah, but he said he could look inside his prommy and not know what it is. besides i was describing the compressor not the condensor, was tired last night when i replied. had a long day trying to sort out my pc
