In the market for a new SSD

So i am looking to upgrade from my single 128GB 840 pro, my initial idea was to buy two 500GB 850 EVOs and run them in raid 0 but after more research and alot of pondering of the past few days i am leaning towards getting a Intel 750 series.

Any thoughts?

You can get the 1tb 850 EVO for less than £300 at the moment, would definitely be worth considering.

Yeah i was looking into that one as well the past few days, i suppose my main issue is since i am buying a new SSD/SSDs i want to get the best i can as to not upgrade again so soon (and i like new fast tech).

Also if i buy a 1TB SSD or x2 500GB SSDs for say £290 would it not be worth adding the extra £15-20 and getting a intel 750 series?

Well if money is no object, then yeah go for the Intel 750. The 400GB model is £307.82 and the 1.2TB model is £816.52, so if you're happy with the 400gb and you have around £300 to spend, plus a spare PCIE 3.0 x4 slot, it's a no brainer.

Yeah i was looking to spend around £300, i suppose it is just that voice in the back of head second guessing yourself (money is money). I will be looking to upgrade my whole system once skylake is out as well so that kind of pushes me to the intel 750 series a bit more.

Do i sound like i am trying to convince myself? Lol.

(my current board is a Asrock Extreme 4 and if my research was correct i believe the 750 works fine with it)
