It's good they finally updated this policy. Huge barrier to entry. Now everyone can play and if you own any dlc you can play to without first having to buy W1/2. Which further helps lower barrier to entry.
As for the new trailer... My god it was prefect. Definitely imo the best Warhammer trailer they've shown yet and easily a top one for the TW franchise.
