Well it's inevitable and was bound to happen sooner or later but my lowly old Acer v193w is giving up on me, so its time to start looking at her replacement, so I'm pretty much set on this Iiyama model which I think just about ticks all the right boxes for me. 1080p, 1ms response, 16.9 Wide, 55 - 75 Hz I'm a heavy Photoshopper and casual gamer so I need it to serve both these needs also watch most films on my PC so screen size is important.. My question is does any of our loyal congregation have any experiences with Iiyama panels? and what do you think of them?

The Guv has used Iiyama in the past and is using them again now so they must be good

I had not even thought of that, must be onto a winner then  I've never used Iiyama before but I have noticed compared to Asus, Acer and Dell they have 36 month warranties compared to 24.

def wanna go TN panel wraith? If you like to photoshop you might find the colours and viewing angles in an IPS nicer.

I use an Iiyama IPS panel and love it. Never had a problem. Slight backlight bleeding on the lift side of the screen when it's dark but nothing very noticeable

Would love a IPS panel dude, I just can't foot the bill at the moment and I just know if I wait much longer it'll be too late, the back light is failing in this Acer and I'd give it a week or so before it's dead. So budget is tight especially with Christmas fast approaching.

You've peaked my interest, now I'm scanning for affordable IPS panels, and I must say they have come down by loads.. I could get a 21.8" IPS for the same price as this 24" although it's hit and miss on features.

I think you'll be onto a winner Wraith just buy it now and then you know your problem is sorted

I think I'm just going to pull the trigger on this now.... mmm I need a few more hours looking to make sure I don't miss anything else though. ;)
