1) what if you made a bong cooler but had the water pumped up a tube in the bottom of the tube and it would look like a funtion with a fan in the top of the bong blowing down

2) could you just get an old water founten and use it for a waterchiller?

1) I have no idea what you just said mate

2) Yes but it wont handle much load, easier to get a window A/C.

grey is the fan blue is water, you have the tube in shooting the water up and and it founton down

sry was drawing a pick but got to go

LoL without pic its more clear now. Like a fountain you say. Well for best evaporation you want to get the water into droplets.

well would a fountain have better evaporation? because water would stay in the air 2x as long, going up it would be like a thin sheet of water and going down it would be droplets

I don't think using the evaporation of water will be very effective because compared to 200 watts or heat will be insignificant. Also if the water condenses again all of your benefit will be lost. If you wanted to do this a mister like they use in gardens to cool it down might be an option, but you will need to continuely replace your coolant as well, and I don't think it is going to be cost effective in the respect as well.

My 66" bong held around 1400watts of heat at sub ambient temperatures evaporating 3/4 a gallon a day.

Its all about moving the humidity.

that alot of water

wouldn't you have a resivor with a float on it houcked up with a water line so that it refills its self? lol couldn't you also have a line run from your ice maker or water cooler in your frigde hit your case loop it back to your frigde throu a filter and have it in a holding tank to run throu the water chiller/icemaker agine?

... sry but did you realy rig up an out fill with a 2L bottel or was that a joke ... yea i am that sad

At the bottom of the evaporator, you dril a hole, goop in a barb, and run a hose to the bottle. Then if the water level is ever below the hole more water flows in.

the downside is when water evaporates it leaves residues, how much depends if the water is soft or hard.

the good thing is those residues is quite easy to wash off.
