Lets take a look at the specs, shall we?

CPU: i7 4790k
GPU: Nvidia GTX 980M 8GB
RAM: 32 GB

Thats right, Origin has shown us their EON17-X notebook at CES with a fully-fledged desktop i7 4790k. To put things in perspective, that is a 4 core hyperthreaded beast running at 4.4 GHz... Not for the faint of heart. Surely this notebook must struggle with thermal throttling? Nope, that is not the case. This thin device is capable of cooling a desktop i7 so well that the guys over at Origin even managed to crank a staggering 4.4 GHz without Turbo Boost out of it!

It does include two full sized Display Ports, so 4k gaming is possible with a separate monitor. That will be able to take advantage of the 8 GB of VRAM at your disposal. Those are some of the highest specs we have ever seen on a gaming laptop, so the price, as expected, will be fairly hefty. It starts at $1,878; not too bad for what you are getting.

What do you guys think?

That must have one hell of a battery in it otherwise it won't last too long, especially if you load up a game. It would be interesting to see what the battery life is on it and what spec the battery is in it.
