Hello guys,
I was just wondering if I should OC my i5 3570K.
I'm running a GTX670 in a HAF 932 case with a Noctua NH D14.
So I think if I'm looking to my temperatures of my processor I could OC it a bit because it never goes over 51°C.
Should I OC my CPU?
I'm not planning it to OC it to 4.7 GHz because I want to keep my system secure and cool but I would like it if its a bit more, so howmany?
And whats the max temp my processor could handle?
Because if I watch on intel's site I see the max temp is about 67°C but I saw people overclocking the i5 3570K to 4.7 GHz with 93°C...I guess this isn't so healthy for the CPU?
Also the risk with overclocking your CPU is that it could be damaged?
But what if it's succesfull and your CPU isn't damaged, is the lifespan going down or what?
Or aren't their any other risks?
And now finally I run a ASrock Extreme 6, I can overclock my CPU in the BIOS but do I need to do something with the voltages?
For those who also run ASrock motherboards, is it possible to configure the voltage settings that it makes the system stable auto?
Or what voltage do I need to take? Sorry, I'm new at this.
Because I OC my system before and I had about 15FPS in BF3 settings maxed out.
I searched about this and I think the voltages makes your system running stable? or something?
If just someone could explain me something about voltages that would be fine.
Thanks and sorry for my english.
