I need a new sound card!

I have a sound blaster Audigy that’s very old and bad, my motherboard sound is probably better!

I’m a gamer so I need a creative sound card with X-Fi, but I can’t decide between these 2...

I would go for the cheaper one, the other looks OTT!

And I bet you that you motherboard sound is not better.. never is!

Yh thats what I was thinking I mean the cards look identicle, its probs just the box and remote you would be playing for.

I'd go for the cheaper one of the two. I'm not sure how good your mobo one is as I've heard some of the newer mobos have some pretty decent sound chips intergrated. However, I think Audigy are awesome. I still use an Audigy LS in my rig and recently bought an Audigy 2Zs from ebay for £12 to use in my secondary rig as the onboard sound from the Realtek'97 is appalling compared with a proper Soundblaster.
