I am thinking I should overclock but I am timid.

I have an NH-D14 (MoBo headers) on it and the highs were from me playing FarCry 3 for almost an hour.

What do you all think? Mind you, this is my first build and I am not confident with overclocking. Thanks for giving it a look, I would be lost so many times without you all. ;)

What do you think I should set as a stable clock?

Your setup looks good, your CPU is a K which makes it easyer ... you have decent cooling, I don't see why not. I'd go for it.

Yeah I understand I can :p

I was wondering what I should start at, aim for, and any tips. I am kind of ignorant when it comes to overclocking. Thanks for the confirmation though. :)

You have all the ingredients for a good overclocker.
Plenty of guides here on the website about overclocking. Use the search bar.
4.5 should be easily attainable with a d14 depending on airflow in the case.

Well why don'cha say so?... start with the CPU multiplier and raise it a notch and test and so on till you get instability, the up the voltage a bit but not by much! or you can aim for a OC value like 4.1GHz ( even 4.4 but to be on the safe side just 4.0-4.1GHz ) and test for stability. If it's stable the try increments of about 100MHz and see how far you can push the OC with stock volts. At the first sign of instability, bump them volts up manually from the BIOS ( The whole OC process should be done in the BIOS ) a bit till stable... always keep your eye on the temps no matter what. And be patient...
