Jeeze that's a great deal! I emailed my dad on it, he'll prolly get one.

It's a hefty upgrade from his 9800 PRO @ XT, and thats about the same price he payed for his 98P.

Same price I paid for my 9800 pro too ( I never flashed mine to XT, too lazy).

Normaly these cards run for at least like 420 plus shipping and tax I believe....

Don't worry about refurbed computer parts. They won't have had a problem with them at all, it's not as if they're worth repairing to be honest! They'll probably be from a cancelled order of OEM cards, or are stock rotation returns from a large retailer.

I've sold pulled computer components for years, and there's no shame/problem with pulled/refurbed cards anyway, but like I say, I doubt that the refurb process is quite as "invasive" as a board level repair.

thanks for the info.

will have to look into getting something like this after christmas. My fx5600 ultra wont take the strain for too long I think and I dont have pci-e so will have to look soon to get some decent deals.
