HTPC - Advice

Hey guys,

Looking at building an HTPC for watching movies and watching streams/Youtube. I've listed the parts that I am interested in below, please let me know what you guys think of it. When you're going through the hardware please take note of: hardware that I've gone too cheap on; hardware that is too expensive and I wouldn't really utilize it and most of all that everything is compatible. I am not keen on spending more than the total amount of the parts below, so if you recommend anything else please try keep it either the same price or cheaper. (Please stick to Intel and Nvidia - because - fan boy :) ).

Chassis: Corsair Obsidian 250D - http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Obsid...8&qid=1438821829&sr=8-1&keywords=Corsair+250D
Processor: Intel Haswell Pentium G3470 - http://www.amazon.com/Intel-Pentium...8&qid=1438821863&sr=8-1&keywords=BX80646G3470
Motherboard: GIGABYTE B85M-HD3 - http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-DDR3...F8&qid=1438821934&sr=8-1&keywords=GA-B85M-HD3
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LP, 4GB, DDR3-1600, CL9 X 2 (8GB in total) - http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Venge...d=1438865066&sr=8-1&keywords=CML4GX3M1A1600C9
GPU: GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 750 Ti - http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GDDR...&qid=1438865159&sr=8-1&keywords=GV-N75TOC-2GI
HDD: Western Digital Black 1TB (Already own this, so not considered in the price total) - http://www.amazon.com/Western-Digit...134&sr=8-1&keywords=Western+Digital+Black+1+t

Any recommendations/opinions would be appreciated.

Cheers

If it's just for watching movies and Youtube, why don't you just get a Chromecast or something similar?

Instead of corsair you should take a look at silverstone's HTPCs or the raijintek metis
Or even better the Node 202 by Fractal design

I'm from South Africa man... :( We don't get that stuff here. I'd have to import it which isn't fun.

It's still a lot cheaper than buying a pc, I sure there's something sold in South Africa like a Chromecast, Apple TV,....
I used to have a HTPC, but it's now only used as a server, since we hardly ever used it and most smart TVs can do the same things I used the HTPC for.

I really like the look of the Node, but prefer the 250D more. I have a 750D at the moment so using it more because they look the same.

We get none of that here, I would've definitely gone that route if we did.

I often find myself sitting in extremely arb positions at my desk while watching streams, so getting an HTPC to watch from the comfort of a couch is just more appealing for me and for the people who look at me :D

If its just for whaching movies grabing a apu and a smaller case is going to be better than a fairly large m-itx case and a video card.... something like this
