Hi, I wondering if anyone can give me step by step guide to overclock my system.
My rig specs: Gigabyte GA-890fxa-ud5 v 2.1, AMD Phenom 2 1090t 6 core 3.2, Mushkin ridgeback 8GB 2000Mhz ddr3 and sapphire 6970 2G.
I want to overclock my cpu to run 4.0 Ghz, ram to run at its speed of 2000Mhz I can only get it to run at 1600Mhz. I have not done any overclocking before I had try at overclocking but was a little bit confused to what to do when overclocking. When I tryed to change the timeings in the dram config in my bios and then save it will all ways crash and it will recommend to go back default settings. Please if anyone can help it will be aswome.
