How to know if psu is good enough?

integratable

Good day fellas. I recently bought a new (old new) Asus M4A89GTD PRO am3 board and started overclocking my unlocked 555BE.

Got into thinking: is my cheap psu good enough for doing so. It's some kind of polish brand named "Modecom" 620w psu.

How to know if its enough for my quite low end system? OC target is 3.8ghz at about 1.4vcore.

(specs: Asus M4A89GTD PRO; x4 B55; HD6870; 2x2gb 1333mhz patriot signature line; Modecom MC 620)

I don't know about the quality of the PSU in question but if you want to know how much power you need try this

Please of the love of god, DON'T use that

a multimeter and checking the 12v rails .......

My opinion on a PSU never EVER skip on it as it IS the hart of the system,

ones that blows out it CAN take other parts with it.........

Thanks for replies. Wouldn't have skimmed if i had the money

. I'm running my b55 at 3.6 and 1.38vcore, so 3.8 and 1.4 would't make much difference i guess... Just wondering, should i deffo grab something better right now or can it wait a bit?
