it brings back bad memorys for me, I had a dodgy motherboard and didnt know, fried 3 CPU's before i relised, an XP 1600 (funnly enuff) an 1800 and a 2600, i then tried these CPUs in my other 2 space mobos both of these mboos dont work anymore either :( complete utter carnage :P

ah...back to the old days heh?

i too went back to AMD after my P3 coppermine 750mhz C0 and tried the amd 1400...2 kg7-r boards of mine died though due to the case shorting the mobo, great design those juno p6 cases had

Then took the board to a technician to test if everything was fine cos i had no friends with other gear in order to test what was dead...

he chipped my cpus core...WTF...i realised when it was really late but the cpu was working fine.

i had a kanie hedgehog cooper heatsink when they first appeared...

then two of my mates got the same heatsink...the same technician killed 4 xp 1500+ cpus with that cooler and finally said the heatsinks were faulty lol...

i never had probs with mine...

oh well it was time for the axps then...so i went for a 1500+ unlocked it and i also did the same with the 1700+ and 1800+ which was a great clocker at the time...

too many people were killing their cpus at the time...

went back to intel and it all was great again :D

ive been with ATi from the Duron 900, then i got the XP 1600, 1800, 2600, 2500 - 3200 x3 and then to my first P4 :D
