Hey guys. I'm using F@H V7 and I have i7 2700k @4,5GHz and I'm also folding with my GTX 680 and I'm not getting very high points. What do you think?

Ok that was just for 5 minutes or something but usually I'm getting around 30k isn't that a little low for my rig??

I think you are not getting 2,000,000+ PPD

Also your team# seems to be other than 98860......

You are absolutely right. Like I said it was only for 5 minutes but what I would like to know is why am I getting so low PPD or around 25-30k PPD ?

If I'm breaking any rules and am not allowed to ask unless I'm in OC3D team I can go to the folding forums...

I don't think you are breaking any rules, but it is confusing as you aren't folding for us, yet you are asking us for help...

Back on topic, 25-30k PPD for just the CPU sounds about right. That stupidly huge PPD is just a bug or error.

You should change your team number to 98860 too, because personally, I think it looks better.

Lol The Team number doesn't matter, it's the cause so Fold on.

(But definitely switch to us..

It looks like the FAH Control is reporting all kinds of insane things there, but I believe the CPU PPD you're interested in is about right.

Thanks mate. I was a little worried that the score was to low but about the team, I just switched to another Icelandic team the other day and I prefer to stay on an Icelandic team. Support your own country

You are folding on a GTX680 right? is one of the slots for it folding the FahCore_16? if so, there's your problem.

This is the core originally made for the AMD GPUs , i.e. currently still pretty ineffecient in its CPU usage.

This makes the SMP client wait. Try setting your SMP client to use 6 cores (it can only have multiples of two since the v7 Release due to instabillity with primenumber amounts of cores) and see if the performance improves.

Oh and yeah.. that PPD counter on the v7 client is indeed kinda odd.. will get better with newer releases probably

hmm.. have you tried turning it off and on again?

if so.. lets take a look if there is some process going wild..

and see if you can find something in the logs.

Ok I must add that my GPU keeps going back to zero a few times before failing

And as you can see I'm only getting around 10k PPD on my CPU

Just kidding on the 98860, you are welcome to post here in our fourm any time you like.

Yeah your GPU seems to be unstable..

it runs fine for a few percent and then dies.. this could be due to an unstable overclock or due to overheating. It could also be a bad driver.

Its weird that it started doing this on its own though, If you haven't updated anything and the temps are still fine, can you check if tyou were able to complete any of the 8008 WUs in the past?

When ever you see "NANs detected on GPU" it is usually an unstable condition caused by overclock, setup, of possibly driver issues. NAN I beleive stands for not a number, so there has been a computational error....
